About

Taylor Moyer is a Northwest Ohio historian, educator, and researcher.

Taylor graduated from Northwest State Community College with an Associate of Arts in Historic Preservation from Northwest State Community College in 2010. Taylor is a Distinguished Alumni of NSCC. 

Taylor earned his Bachelors of Science  in Adolescent Young Adult Social Studies Education with a minor in history from Bowling Green State University in 2014. In 2014 he was awards the most improved student in the Department of History. 

In 2014 Taylor successfully became a Nationally Certified Interpretive Guide through the National Association of Interpretation. 

Taylor has served on a variety of committees and boards for local history including the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Commission in Maumee, Ohio; was a trustee, Vice President and President of the Henry County Historical Society in Napoleon, Ohio. 

Taylor currently serves as the Historic Programs Manager for the Black Swamp Intertribal Foundation which he has been a member of for over a decade. Taylor is also an active member of the Waterville Historical Society and the living history community of Northwest and the greater State of Ohio.
